Bryana E. Williams, also known as “Coach Bry,” was born on April 25, 1988, in Long Beach, California. She was raised by her single mother and grandmother and spent most of her childhood attending schools in Long Beach before relocating to the San Fernando Valley for high school. Bryana later attended California Baptist University in Riverside, where she earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Sociology, while also playing basketball all four years.
Basketball has been a major part of Bryana’s life since the age of five. In addition to athletics, she has always had a passion for writing, dance, and connecting with people. Naturally reserved and humble, Bryana is known for working diligently behind the scenes, but she also rises as a confident leader when needed. Throughout her life, she has consistently been placed in leadership roles—from student council president and peer mediator to basketball team captain and youth leader at church—where she has led by example and supported others.
From a young age, Bryana developed a genuine love for serving others, especially young people. She has been actively involved in numerous ministries including homeless outreach, youth ministry, hip-hop dance choreography, and character development programs. Many recognized her calling early on, encouraging her to pursue ministry and leadership in ways that would impact and uplift others. Over time, Bryana began stepping into those opportunities, growing in confidence and clarity about the purpose God had placed on her life.
Over the years, Bryana has participated in three international mission trips, spoken at schools and community events, ministered at church services, and coached youth for over seven years. She has worked across multiple organizations supporting children, teens, and young adults, and currently serves as the Director of the Young Adult Ministry at her home church. Bryana is also a missionary, author, poet, songwriter, dancer, and speaker.
Today, Bryana is bringing together her passion for leadership, mentorship, and faith through the vision God placed on her heart: B Better U. This organization is dedicated to helping individuals grow, discover their purpose, and become the best version of themselves.
Bryana is deeply grateful for the prayers, support, and partnership of everyone involved in this mission. Her hope is that through the programs and events of B Better U, each person will grow, find confidence, and experience meaningful transformation.
